10. Negating value

The code not in front of True makes the expression result in False. If something is not true, it has to be false.

not is the negation operator. It turns values into their opposite.

When we change a value to its opposite with not, we negate it, like here with not True.

>>> print(not True)
False

不在 True 前面的代码会使表达式的结果为 False。如果某件事不是真的，那它一定是假的。not 是取反运算符。它会将值变成相反的值。当我们用 not 将一个值变为相反值时，我们就是在对其取反，就像这里的 not True 一样。
